Tutti Frutti is 2011’s new flavour
Every year at Marshfield Farm we like to introduce a new ice cream flavour, and we are delighted to announce that 2011’s fresh flavour is that much-loved Italian retro classic, Tutti Frutti. The decision was reached after a postal vote among our top customers.
As you can imagine we have great fun in deciding which flavour to introduce and there is usually a divide among the team with everyone wanting to choose his or her own personal favourite. One year, Will, the boss chose (well, he is the boss) and his pick of Caramel Fudge In Clotted Cream went on to win a Great Taste award.
The traditional Italian flavour is scattered through with tiny jewel shaped bits of fruit, such as cherries, melons and orange, and beat off competition from runner-up white chocolate and raspberries with rhubarb in third place. An honourable mention must go to office manager Cindy’s choice, gooseberry, which failed to register a single vote.
