Great Taste Awards

Each year we’ve entered an ice cream or sorbet to the prestigious Great Taste Awards we have been successful – we’ve won in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012!

Many consumers will now recognise the Great Taste Awards logo which appears on many food products – from chocolate to cheese and from sausages to soup. The Great Taste Awards have been described as "the Oscars of the food world" and the “epicurean equivalent of the Booker Prize”. Devised by The Guild of Fine Food and involving rigorous blind-tasting by teams of experts, only the very best food products receive the coveted Great Taste winners’ stamp.

Great Taste Gold 2008 LogoIn 2008 our Rich Clotted Cream Ice Cream, Blackcurrants in Clotted Cream (3 gold stars) and our Diabetic Vanilla Ice Cream were all Great Taste Award winners.

Great Taste Gold 2009 LogoIn 2009 our Caramel Fudge in Clotted Cream and Fresh Lemon Sorbet were both awarded a Great Taste Award.

Great Taste Gold 2010 LogoIn 2010 our Luscious Mango Sorbet was a winner.

Great Taste Gold 2011 LogoIn 2011 our Very Vanilla Ice Cream was a Great Taste winner.

The co-owner of Jigsaw, Belle Robinson, recently picked Marshfield Ice Cream as her perfect Sunday dessert. In an article called How To Enjoy Sunday In Style for Easy Living Magazine she wrote that her perfect Sunday meal is meat and veg from her own organic farm, followed by Marshfield Ice Cream for pudding.
