Marshfield Farm Summer Production

Over the summer Rory was out on the farm fields and recorded some amazing footage. We have a team of farmer’s who work 7 days a week looking after our farm land. Daily tasks include feeding the cows organic grass silage that we cut from the farm at the beginning of the year, as well as growing and cutting wheat, barley and oats.

Did you know our farm is run in accordance to Soil Association standards? This means our cows graze over 1,000 acres of organic land for 9 months of the year. In the winter our cows are housed in barns to avoid the harsh weather and you can see in the video our farmers collecting straw bales for the cows to sleep on (just like a mattress!).

Welcoming bees to our farm!

Our farm has suddenly become a whole lot sweeter. We’re buzzing with excitement to share the news that we’ve welcome two bee hives onto the farm – that’s close to 20,000 bees!

Our Parlour is now CLOSED until 2022

Our Summer Ice Cream Parlour is now CLOSED until Spring 2022. Thank you to all who visited this year, we can’t wait to reopen our barn doors next year!
