SCHOOL VISITS

For more than 20 years, we've been welcoming local

schools to the farm. We love sharing our knowledge about

regenerative farming, animal welfare, sustainability

and of course, ice cream!

Educating the Next Generation

As a family farm, we know a thing or two about educating the next generation; using our farm as a tool to show how farming techniques have developed over time and a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to run a successful business.

We have two school packages: a School Visit Day, where we welcome our local community to the farm and a Virtual School Kit, meaning schools further afield can get involved in farm life too.

SCHOOL VISIT DAY

Our School Days are an opportunity for your class to tour the farm, learn how ice cream is made and, above all, have fun.

During the visit, your class will be guided around the farm and learn how our regenerative farming practices work in harmony with nature to support healthy soil, animals and ecosystems. Students will also spend time in our ice cream parlour learning how we make our delicious ice cream — and of course, they’ll get to taste some too!

As a working farm, safety and enjoyment are our priority, which is why we welcome a maximum class size of 30 students per visit.

Our School Days are also an important way for us to raise money for our charity partner, Jamie’s Farm. We ask for a donation of £5 per person, all of which goes directly to the charity. We require a minimum group size of 15 students. However, for smaller groups, we may still be able to accommodate your visit, but we ask for a slightly higher overall donation to ensure each tour continues to meaningfully support Jamie’s Farm.

We are now taking applications for our 2026 dates. Please fill in the form below to apply.

VIRTUAL SCHOOL KIT

Our Virtual School Kit is a way to learn about the farm (and the ice cream) without even leaving your classroom!

You can download our 'Cow to Cone' video, where you'll learn all about our farm, our herd and how we make our ice cream.

The kit also comes with a worksheet, a quiz and the option to have ice cream delivered for your class. It's bound to be the tastiest lesson ever.

The kit is available to download for £30, every penny of which is donated to our charity partner, Jamie's Farm.
