We're renewing our charity partnership with Jamie’s Farm for another 3 years!
July 02, 2026
We’re delighted to share that we’ve just renewed our charity partnership with Jamie’s Farm for another three years. Our first three-year partnership came to an end this spring, and signing up for a second was an easy decision.
Marshfield Farm founders, Dawn and Will, have known Jamie Feilden, Founder of Jamie’s Farm, for well over 15 years. Long before any formal partnership, we’ve been supporting the charity through volunteering, fundraising and donations for many years.

Jamie’s Farm works with young people facing significant challenges, including those at risk of exclusion, disengaged from education, or struggling to recognise their own strengths. Through residential and day visit programmes on their working farms across England and Wales, young people take part in purposeful farm work, cooking, walking and caring for animals. Supported by trusted adults and a nurturing environment, they build confidence, strengthen relationships and reconnect with what they are capable of.
The programme is evidence-based and the results are lasting: six months after a visit, 68% of young people who arrived at risk of exclusion are no longer at risk. Two thirds show improvements in their wellbeing and their relationships.

What we achieved together
We formalised our initial three-year partnership with Jamie's Farm in 2023, and together, our team, our customers, our community, raised an incredible £13,388.25. That came from a combination of things: a direct company donation each year, gifts of ice cream for Jamie's Farm to sell at their events, school visits here at Marshfield Farm where every £5 per head goes straight to the charity, a Black Friday matched giving campaign through our online shop checkout, and countless farm raffles, tombolas and competitions along the way. Several members of our team also rolled up their sleeves at Jamie's Farm's annual Open Days, helping with food service and ice cream sales throughout the day.
In those three years, Jamie’s Farm supported 6,840 young people across their farms. More than 1,590 teachers and education professionals came with them to be part of their young people’s transformation and develop their own practice too.

And something closer to home
Last year, Jamie’s Farm opened Lower Shockerwick Farm, their sixth rural site, right here in the Box valley. It’s just down the road from us. A farm where 450 young people a year will now come to connect with the land, with animals, and with each other. We couldn’t be more pleased to have them as neighbours.
The next three years
Over the next three years, Marshfield Farm will donate £2,500 a year directly to Jamie’s Farm, fundraise a minimum of £2,500 a year through school visits and farm events, and provide £1,000 of ice cream and equipment each year. That’s £6,000 a year, or £18,000 over the partnership! It’s a whole-team effort. It always has been, and that’s what makes it mean something.
School visits: come and see us
If you’d like to bring a school group to Marshfield Farm, we’d love to have you. A day learning about regenerative farming, where food comes from, and how we make our ice cream, and yes, there will be tasting. It costs £5 per head, and every penny goes to Jamie’s Farm.

Here’s to three more years of growing something good!
