Happy Earth Day from all of us at Marshfield Farm! Today, we’re celebrating by taking a moment to appreciate the incredible ground beneath our feet. For us, it all starts with taking care of the Earth – from healthy soil to happy cows, and, of course, the delicious real dairy ice cream you know and love.

Regenerative Farming at Marshfield Farm
At Marshfield Farm, we're all about the ice cream but we were farmers first and it's still the foundation of everything we do.
For over 20 years, we have been Soil Association Certified Organic, however as farming methods evolve and innovate, we've found there are alternative farming techniques that are more closely aligned with our mission to keep our cows as happy as can be, while doing the best thing for the environment.
With Rory Hawking (our third generation farmer) now at the helm, we've started embracing Regenerative Farming techniques and bringing new technology to the farm.

We are so thrilled to release our Impact Report, measuring the calendar year 2023.
It's been a big year for us, becoming B Corp Certified, establishing two official charity partnerships with Bristol Zoological Society and Jamie's Farm, and also working hard at the farm to achieve our ESG Goals created in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We've teamed up with English Heritage to create a new flavour: Brown Bread Ice Cream.
Inspired by the Georgian obsession with ‘icy cream’ (which included bizarre flavours such as cucumber and parmesan) and based on a historic recipe, this delicious Brown Bread ice cream flavour includes brown breadcrumbs scattered through an indulgent double cream ice cream, made with fresh milk and finished with pieces of digestive biscuits.
